The Sterling Bullet was a light-duty vocational pickup-truck.[1]Sterling, who worked with Dodge in development of the chassis cab model, decided to have their own version of the Dodge Ram called the Sterling Bullet with a unique grille. Sterling was a division of Freightliner LLC which, like Dodge, was owned by the former Daimler Chrysler. Sterling Trucks was licensed to sell Dodge Ram 4500 series trucks as the Sterling Bullet. These class 4 and 5 trucks have a Gross Weight of 16,500 lb (7,500 kg) and 19,500 lb (8,800 kg), respectively.[2] The chassis for the Bullet was designed for use with a variety of truck configurations, including dump, contractor, towing, and box trucks.[3]
